SCENE 1
Olivia takes photos of David sweeping up in the arbor when they smell something funny coming from OSCAR’s TRASH CAN down the street. Upon arrival, they find that OSCAR has made a mess on the sidewalk, & ask him what’s going on. So, since they’re being so nosy, OSCAR explains that he’s having someone over & that he’s just trying to make the PLACE look extra dingy, & that he’s cooking dinner: toadstool sautéed in axel grease with dashes of stinkweed, peanut butter, & fish scales. OSCAR gets back to work while David & Olivia wonder just who his guest might be.

SCENE 2
A GROUCH stops by the Fix-It Shop & asks Luis why he’s fixing a perfectly good, broken toaster. He tells her it’s because that’s his job. She stops next in front of Hooper’s Store where David is throwing out some TRASH, & she decides this is one of the cleanest streets she’s ever seen. Olivia captures another photo of David & laughs over having sneaked one in again, but the GROUCH snaps at her for being so joyful.

She figures she must be in the wrong place when she spots OSCAR in front of his TRASH CAN, & makes her way over to him fast. OSCAR greets his acquaintance Hermine, & demands to know what held her up. Hermine explains she had been held up by several of his neighbors who were disgustingly nice to her. OSCAR admits it’s pretty rotten, but that the environment on SESAME STREET really keeps him on his toes. He asks her inside his TRASH CAN for a tour.
