OSCAR’s GRANDPA GROUCH gives him a junky piece of equipment with the letter J on top of it. OSCAR guesses the J is for “junk”, but GRANDPA tells him it’s for “joke” because it’s a joke machine. He tells OSCAR to press the button & a card will come out with a joke written on it. Oscar doesn’t like jokes because they make people happy, but he does it anyway. However, when he presses the button, the machine makes a bunch of noises, but no card comes out. GRANDPA laughs: that was the joke!
