Oscar the Grouch & Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster (b. 1962) is an actress who became famous at a young age, both for her performances in Disney films such as Freaky Friday & more mature fare such as Taxi Driver, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award at the age of 15. She later won 2 Oscars for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performances in The Accused & The Silence of the Lambs.

She appeared on SESAME STREET in a scene with OSCAR, footage of which can be seen in the 1994 special SESAME STREET All-Star 25th Birthday: Stars & STREET Forever!. She also directs Telly in reciting Little Jack Horner.

Foster also contributed a " Penne with Broccoli Rabe" recipe for Miss Piggys 1996 cookbook, In the Kitchen with Miss Piggy.

Pepe the King Prawn interviewed Foster on the red carpet of Flightplan for a segment of From the Balcony.
